The 2022 edition of SSIE PhD Summer School was held amidst  the beautiful mountains of Alto Adige, in Brixen, on July 11-15.

The School was divided in 2 tracks, focusing on Machine Learning, Sustainable Edge Computing and Networking and Gallium Nitride and Semiconductors for Power Conversion: Present and Future of Materials for Energy Efficiency respectively.

The School is part of a decades-long tradition, and this year it was an even greater success with a record participation of almost 150 students, top-notch speakers, and featuring various european ITN projects (among which, the GREENEDGE, MINTS and WindMill projects).
