Francesca Meneghello and Marco Canil – GTTI awards winners

Francesca Meneghello and Marco Canil won two prestigious awards at the yearly meeting of GTTI in Padova this September. 

 

Francesca, a MIME graduate, was awarded her PhD title this year, and is currently a Post-Doc at DEI. 

She won the Best PhD Thesis Award, with her thesis “Wireless Communications and Sensing – Opportunities and Challenges for Environment-aware Networks”. 

 

Marco is also a MIME graduate, currently working on his PhD with Prof. Michele Rossi. He won the “Premio Francesco Carassa per la qualità dei contenuti e della presentazione” – a prize for the quality and content of presentations – awarded by GTTI and CNIT.
