Telco at the Edge Cloud: the bridge to 5G
Monday December 17, from 10:30 to 12:15 in room Oe
Very recently, Amazon made bold entry into CBRS (unlicensed LTE spectrum in US) with a quartet of partners, including Athonet, to provide cloud-based solutions for private LTE networks. The companies behind the just-announced solution are targeting telecom operators, the public sector and enterprises—any entity that needs quick deployment of industrial IoT applications such as real-time surveillance, smart meters and worker safety monitoring. Edge and Cloud-based solutions are turning to be a quick bridge to the 5G era.
