
Tuition fees
01In 2018/19, the maximum tuition fee was of 2600 Euro per year, an amount that can be waived down to a minimum of 565 Euro depending on your income/wealth
These amounts are expected to remain similar in 2019/20

Fee waivers
02The University of Padova offers full tuition fee waivers to the best international students. Do not forget to apply for it when completing your application form: all it takes is to tick the proper box. For further information see the Fee waivers page in the institutional web site
In 2018/19, a total of 100 fee-waivers were assigned in the Early selection (see the Applications page) to students of all degrees, of which 18 were MIME applicants
International excellence scholarship programme
03The University of Padova offers a selected number of scholarships to highly talented international students. The scholarship programme is highly selective. Prospective students can apply for the scholarship directly when completing their application form. For further information see the Scholarships page in the institutional web site
In 2018/19, one scholarship per international degree was offered in the Early selection (see the Applications page). The scholarship included a full tuition fee-waiver and an additional gross amount of 12000 Euro
Galileian school of higher education scholarships
04The Galilean School of Higher Education is a school of excellence, named in honor of Galileo Galilei who taught in Padova from 1592 to 1610. 4 international students of the University of Padova are admitted each year through a competitive procedure. In addition to their study program, selected students must attend some additional seminars and courses, write a dissertation on a subject different from their Final project, and keep a qualified CGPA. They are provided with free board and housing, language courses and tutoring, a 5000 Euro scholarship, and a reimbursement of travel expenses
In 2018/19, one of the scholarships was given to a MIME student
Infineon Scholarship
05Infineon Technologies Italia S.r.l has awarded two scholarships of 5,000€ each, for a.y. 2018/19 to help deserving students continue their studies in the Second-cycle (Master’s) degree in “ICT for Internet and multimedia” (MIME). The call for 2019/20 scolarship will be available soon.
The scholarships are awarded both to Italian and foreign students who are pre-enrolled in the Second-cycle (Master's) degree course in “ICT for Internet and multimedia” at the University of Padova.
